At era92, we’ve always believed in dreaming BIG. And not just dreaming, but sharing those dreams with the world, even before knowing how exactly we’d make them a reality. It’s that audacious belief that has led us to where we are today.

The era92 Innovation Hub might be our most ambitious dream yet. Our goal is to build Uganda’s first tech startup-focused co-working space, designed to create a community where Uganda’s emerging tech freelancers, entrepreneurs, and startup creators can flourish. We see introducing entrepreneurship to our young people and building an innovation ecosystem as the natural evolution in our Theory of Change for Uganda. While training tech employees is impactful, empowering young people to become tech employers and startup founders is a whole new level of transformation!

This Hub is not just a space; it’s an opportunity to empower. We plan to monetize it to subsidize our free tech education outreach programs, taking a big step towards financial sustainability. Here’s how we plan to make it happen:

• Offering branding partnerships for the Innovation Hub.
• Renting office spaces to emerging tech startups.
• Providing desk space for tech freelancers and entrepreneurs.
• Running tech courses, open to anyone who wants to learn—from kids to adults.
• Hosting events, meetups, and private functions that foster growth and connection.

As a social enterprise, 100% of our revenue will be reinvested into furthering our mission. The Innovation Hub will not only generate enough revenue to support our training programs but also fuel era92’s journey towards creating 100,000 skilled jobs for young people across Africa. We aim to make this space the heart of tech entrepreneurship in Uganda—and maybe even beyond!
