Unlocking Brilliance at Scale
As we wrapped up an incredible first quarter, I wanted to personally share some remarkable stories and milestones from era92. Amidst the ongoing challenges in Uganda’s slums, we continue to witness the limitless potential of the young people we serve. This first quarter has been nothing short of extraordinary proof that our model works and that scaling impact is not just a dream, but a reality in motion.
At just 13 years old, Edward was abandoned by his parents. With no home, no education, and no future in sight, he took shelter in an abandoned house. But everything changed when George an era92 Elevate alumnus introduced him to our program.
Today, Edward is enrolled in Elevate 2025, learning graphic designing and video, surrounded by supportive friends, and finally has access to the tools and mentorship he needs to rewrite his story. He represents over 2,000+ students enrolled with us this year proof that Uganda’s youth hold untapped potential, waiting to be awakened.

What started as a slab and a few containers is now a rising structure the future home of innovation, collaboration, and opportunity. As of this quarter, the entire structure is complete, and we’re preparing to begin roofing within the next two weeks.
This Hub will host our training programs, entrepreneurship incubators, events, fellowships and workspaces, enabling us to scale our mission faster and farther.
This quarter, 165 life-changing loans were disbursed through era92 Fund. These weren’t just transactions they were investments into freedom, creativity, and ownership.We’ve seen how access to tools whether a laptop, camera, or internet connection can completely transform a young person’s future. Many of these assets were handed over to Elevate graduates, and in collaboration with Give Internet, some received them entirely free.

- Shepherd Ops – Mastercard Foundation (via BrighterMonday & WITU): Helping Elevate graduates access work, mentorship, and digital economy pathways.
- Embrace Christian Children Foundation: Orphans from Embrace now have access to our full training program.
- ALX Partnership: Leveraging ALX’s platform enabled us to reach an additional 800 youth with top-tier training resources.
